Breakfast at Duck & Waffle: relationships over transactions

Last week we hosted a breakfast at Duck & Waffle, forty floors above the City, bringing together architects, designers, builders and friends of Imperium to start the day with good coffee, a long table and even better conversation.

The morning was generously sponsored by our supplier partner JUNG UK, whose beautifully engineered switches and controls share our belief that the things you touch every day in a home should be as considered as the spaces they sit in.

It is easy, in a technical industry, to let everything become a transaction, a drawing, a quote, a delivery date. But the projects we are proudest of never start that way. They start with people who trust each other enough to share a brief openly, to flag a problem early, and to solve it together. A morning like this is where that trust is built.

The Imperium way

We talk about integrating early into a project, and that is as true of relationships as it is of infrastructure. The earlier we know the people around the table, and they know us, the more smoothly the work runs when it matters. Collaboration is not a buzzword for us; it is simply how the best results happen.

Our thanks to everyone who joined us, to JUNG UK for sponsoring the morning, and to Duck & Waffle for the setting. We left with new connections, a few old ones renewed, and a clear reminder of why we do this the way we do.
